Working for Fortune 100 Corporations
The dock I pushed off of…
was insurance (how unsexy). It wasn’t what I had planned on but coming out of college I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do and I got an opportunity to be in a leadership development program that was three rotations across a corporation (Allstate Insurance) each lasting one year. This allowed me to see how a large organization worked from multiple view points and also allowed me to get a better understanding on what kind of work I liked performing.
Through this experience, I learned how to work cross-functionally with multiple different departments, drive corporate initiatives, and most importantly, I learned I really enjoyed the tech / innovation world. And thus began my journey.
After numerous roles and across varying responsibilities, I’m currently working at Amazon Studios overseeing the Global Partner Experience for filmmakers providing content to Prime Video.
